Hi, I’m Mae Wells - the creative behind MAAEE MEDIA.

I’m a Bristol-born photographer, videographer and designer with over five years of experience in photography and design, and three years in video production and editing. I hold a Creative Media diploma and have built my skills through hands-on work, passion, and a deep love for visual storytelling.

My work is heavily inspired by people, music and culture. I’m drawn to bold visuals - whether that’s vibrant colour or striking black-and-bold imagery. I love capturing personality, energy and real moments that feel authentic and powerful.

I don’t box myself into one style or one type of client. I create for anybody who wants strong visuals and creative direction that reflects who they are. Whether you come to me with a full concept or just an idea, I adapt to your vision and bring it to life.

About Blue and Mae – Blue and Mae are both AVA students (AVA is our in-house academy of visual arts in our Bristol centre, with strong links to employers in the Bristol area), and are in their second year of Film, Videography and Photography. They won Best Film/Video at the local Bristol awards.

Blue and Mae have created a successful video which was so liked by Circomedia College that is now being used in the marketing of the College. This is a huge achievement and shows the professionalism of their work and how it has been applied and used directly in the industry.

What the judges had to say – A solid understanding of filmmaking and documentary fundamentals, the pair have crafted an excellent, thought-provoking documentary.
